The RE series is a new type developed based on the design concept of the XRB type. Its main dimensions are the same as those of the XRB type. Structurally, the inner ring is split, while the outer ring is designed as an integrated (one-piece) structure. It is suitable for applications that require high rotational accuracy of the outer ring.
Common Problems:
·Lubrication Issues:
Lubrication problems are one of the main causes of bearing failure, including:
Use of an inappropriate lubricant type
Insufficient or excessive lubricant quantity
Unreasonable lubrication intervals
·Contamination:
External contaminants such as dust, water, or metal chips entering the bearing can cause wear and damage. This is usually the result of seal failure or improper sealing.
·Installation Errors:
Incorrect installation methods can apply additional stress to the bearing, such as:
Excessive hammering or improper force during installation
Incorrect fit between the shaft and the bearing housing (too tight or too loose)
·Fatigue:
During long-term operation, bearings are subjected to repeated stresses that can lead to fatigue and eventual failure. This represents the end of the normal service life but may be accelerated by overload conditions.
·Overload:
Operating beyond the bearing’s designed load capacity accelerates fatigue and may result in permanent damage.
